Ashley Mason

Ashley Mason, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Psychiatry in Residence at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) Weill Institute for Neurosciences and Core Research Faculty at the UCSF Osher Center for Integrative Health. She directs the UCSF Osher Center Insomnia Clinic and serves as the Director of the UCSF Sleep, Affect, and Eating (SEA) Laboratory, and the Co-Director of the UCSF Center for Obesity Assessment, Study, and Treatment (COAST). Dr. Mason’s work is funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD), and philanthropic foundations. 

Dr. Mason attended Northwestern University where she earned BAs in psychology and sociology, and attended the University of Arizona where she earned an MA and a PhD in clinical psychology. She completed her clinical residency at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System and an NIH T32 postdoctoral fellowship at the UCSF Osher Center for Integrative Health.
