Daemon Fairless is an investigative journalist, writer, and podcast host. He’s based in Toronto where he currently works with CBC Podcasts, developing, producing and hosting some of its most successful series, including award-winners such as Hunting Warhead, Let’s Not Be Kidding, and Bloodlines. He’s covered international news, hosting Canada’s number-one news podcast, CBC’s Front Burner. Daemon’s the author of the non-fiction book Mad Blood Stirring: The Inner Lives of Violent Men (Penguin Random House; 2018). He holds a Masters degree in Neuroscience & Psychology and, for many years, worked as a science journalist.
