Victoria Native Friendship Centre

Purpose

To offer a range of services to Indigenous communities on Vancouver Island.

The Victoria Native Friendship Centre (VNFC) is an Indigenous-led organization located on Southern Vancouver Island, British Columbia, on the traditional lands of the Lekwungen speaking People of the Songhees and Esquimalt Nations.

The Centre comprises over 140 compassionate staff members, building and delivering over 75 programs working to improve socio-economic conditions for urban Indigenous peoples.

It offers a wide variety of services focused on adults, children, culture & language, education, families, housing, Indigiqueer, youth, elders & seniors, career & employment, food security, and health & wellness. Annually, it supports 8,000 members of the local community.
